Check out http://www.Lomarengas. Fi for cabins / houses for rent, and have a farmhouse b & B accommodations listed too. That way you can stay somewhere in the real countryside. . I recommend the Etelä-Savo region is where the lakes. . . Such amazing scenery there! People in this part of the country is usually more friendy and chattier than their western counterparts. . Provided they speak English:)
