GM Force window problem. . . Chevy Caprice/Impala. How can I put the impressible and plastic slides?!?! assist!?
Russian Sauna
Okay, i’ve a 95 Chevy Impala. Simply one out of four force windows(passenger side) is presently working. No A/C…
It’s like in the Russian sauna at same time as driving that object especially it’s a black color…
So, I found out that this impressible and plastic slides which are connected to the actuator are broken. I paid high dollar getting new slide parts but I can’t put it in. This impressible and plastic slides are in among this manual(rail) object and i’ve no mode putting new slides back in. Or taking out the old broken slide parts neither!
Together end of the manual are pinched end, means that I can’t slide the part(slide) out another than lithe it. Plus the punched tack at finish is as well not letting slides out further end of the guide.
i’ve no thought how guys at do purchases can put this object in…
If any knows the trick, i’ll greatly appreciate!
This appear to be a general GM question because I used that to have a 91 Caprice, and it had the equal problem. I didn’t vex it because those were back windows.

I believe you open up the sides of the guide rail to remove the guide clip, install the new one and bend the rail back together. . . . Not totally sure on this model. . . .
You may have to unpinch the end and remove the pin somehow and then replace the guide and repinch the end and replace the pin with a small bolt. . .
It’s just there to keep the guide from going to far.
You can call an auto glass company in your area and maybe talk to one of the tech’s that do the window replacement and see what they say. Good luck, Paul
